Quick Guide to using the FareShare Community Hub

Step 1: Sign up and create a Do IT Pass

To first register, please follow this link: https://doit.life/fareshare/accept-code/organisation/l5iz3ddfb3

If you already use doit.life (previously known as do-it.org) to recruit volunteers, you can join the FareShare Community Hub with your existing account. More details on syncing your accounts can be found here.

Once you have registered your organisation, you will be able to log into the system at any time.

To log into the system, please go to doit.life/fareshare. Please do not re-visit the registration link above as this will prompt you to create another organisation profile.

Step 2: Create a Volunteer Opportunity

Once you have created an account, you will be able to add a volunteer opportunity. This allows you to describe the volunteer role that you are looking to fill. Volunteers will then be able to register interest for the role.

Step 3: Manage a volunteer application

Once a volunteer registers interest, you will receive an email from Do IT called “Someone wants to Volunteer with you”.

The email will direct you back onto the platform where you will be able to see the contact details for the volunteer. You will be able to email or phone the volunteer directly to discuss their availability and suitability for the role.
