Join #TeamFareShare for the Oxford Half Marathon on 16th October 2022. With your help, we can fight food waste and get more meals to people facing hunger.
The Oxford half marathon will take place throughout the beautiful and historic winding streets of one of the most famous cities in the UK. You can support FareShare by joining over 7,000 others runners and take part in this stunning route that will take you past some of the most iconic buildings in the UK. The flat roads make this an ideal challenge for beginners and experienced runners alike.
We would be delighted for you to support FareShare tackle food poverty by joining team FareShare. You need to pay a registration fee of £15 and we ask you to raise £250 which could help deliver enough food for 1000 meals.

JustGiving
The easiest way to start fundraising is by setting up a JustGiving page. You can share the page with family and friends via social media and our fundraising team will be able to support you to set up an engaging page to capture people’s imagination and show the difference their donation will make.
Once you have registered for a place in the event a member of the team will contact you to confirm whether you want a t-shirt or vest, your size and where to send this to.
Don’t worry! A member of the team will be in touch to find out how you are getting on with your training and can provide guidance on training plans to make sure you have the best experience on event day.

4. Write a short paragraph about why you have chosen to run the Cardiff half marathon and another about why you’ve chosen to fundraise for FareShare
5. Share on social media with friends and family
If you have set up a JustGiving page, all the money raised on there will be paid to us directly, so you don’t need to do a thing. If you would like to pay in your fundraising another way, please email fundraiser@fareshare.org.uk and we will provide other ways you can pay in.
