Surrey teenagers make and donate hand sanitisers to FareShare Centres

19 November 2020

A huge thank you to Surrey youngsters Anushka Patel, her sister Anika Pateland and cousin Sasha Mehme, who worked with London chemical solutions company Newport Industries to produce 660 bottles of hand sanitiser for FareShare warehouses.

The teenagers, who had planned to spend the summer in internships and work experience placements, instead generously spent their time manufacturing and distributing the hand sanitisers for FareShare centres across the country.
FareShare is very grateful for the hand sanitisers, which will help our army of volunteers keep safe while working in our warehouse and travelling to and from the charities we provide surplus food to.
