Rory’s story

27 July 2017

As a volunteer driver Rory delivers good food and hope to good causes across the capital. Having recently graduated from University, driving with FareShare has also given him invaluable experience and helped him clinch a dream job as a roadie. In this film he tells us what he enjoys about hitting the road in a FareShare van.

We always especially need volunteer drivers to help us get good food saved from waste to the people who need it. Could you volunteer as a driver? You only need to have a car licence to make a difference in your local community.

About volunteer driving

  • Drive a FareShare van to deliver food to charities.
  • Be the face of FareShare and get to see first-hand the difference food can make to people.
  • Perfect if you enjoy getting out and about, are looking to gain experience or just wanting to help your local community.
