Foodbank Challenge

30 November 2018

Right now thousands of generous shoppers are donating trolley loads of store cupboard staples to FareShare and the Trussell Trust via the Tesco Food Collection. The collection helps us provide over 36 million meals to people in need every year, and we really value your support – both as shoppers and as volunteers.

Other food drives and challenges are also happening around the UK at the moment. If you’d like to donate food that you have bought from supermarkets other than Tesco, it would be greatly appreciated if you could deliver it yourself to your nearest foodbank.

Natasha – FareShare Lancashire & Cumbria

Natasha has been volunteering at FareShare Lancashire and Cumbria for two months. Her role includes working in the warehouse, picking packing and sorting, as well as taking orders in the office. Natasha has been unemployed over 10 years, and, for her, volunteering is a great way to gain the skills and confidence she needs to get back into work.
