Giving Tuesday has arrived at FareShare

27 November 2018

#GivingTuesday is back and there are two ways you can give to FareShare today:

1) Head on down to your local Tesco…

From the 29th November – 1st December, our annual Tesco Food Collection is coming to a Tesco near you. Help us collect much needed store-cupboard essentials, meet new people and fight food poverty in your community by giving just 3 hours of your time. Your 3 hour shift could collect enough food to create a whopping 600 meals!

Find out more and sign up here.

2) Donate to make a difference…

Every £5 you donate helps us create 20 meals for people facing food poverty.

We take good quality, in date surplus food from the food industry – just like the food you’d eat at home – and redistribute it through our network of 10,000 frontline charities. Our volunteers deliver food in 1,300 towns, cities and villages, right across the UK, so it’s likely that FareShare food will be helping people in your community this Christmas.
FareShare food makes a big difference to so many people. We deliver to foodbanks, homeless hostels, community centres for families on low incomes, refuges and hospices.

You can donate here.
