Tesco’s new Candy Cane crisps fundraise for FareShare

17 October 2017

One for the more adventurous snacker…

If you’re keen to get a head-start on the Christmas spirit, you can now buy Candy Cane flavoured crisps from Tesco. The limited edition crisps are part of a seasonal range, and the profits from every pack sold will be divided between FareShare and the Trussell Trust.

FareShare Partnerships Officer (and savoury snack connoisseur) Steffie Clement, taste-tested the unusual crisps before delivering her verdict. She said: “If you’re a fan of the sweet and salty combination then these are the crisps for you. They’d also be perfect for a game of ‘guess the flavour’ with your friends, family or colleagues. Most importantly, they’ll raise a lot of money for FareShare – helping us get more good food to vulnerable people over the Christmas period.”
