As part of Gousto’s ongoing partnership with FareShare, the recipe box provider is launching an exciting new initiative* to help its customers support our mission.
Between Monday 26 June and Sunday 9 July, for the first 15,000 Gousto customers who successfully refer a friend, Gousto will donate £10 to FareShare. The existing customer will get £10 Gousto credit, and the new customer will receive 70% off their first box, with another 25% off their first two months.
Gousto is a B Corp organisation and, like FareShare, is committed to reducing food waste to combat the climate crisis.
“Cutting food waste is one of our founding principles, we work hard to bring food waste down, and one of the ways we do this is by working with FareShare to redistribute any usable surplus food from our fulfilment centres. They divert our surplus food to local charities and community groups who turn it into nutritious meals for those most in need.
“Since 2020 we have diverted the equivalent of 1.4m meals to charities, schools, community groups and shelters. Last year alone we provided nearly 1m meals, which is over double the amount of meals donated in 2021.
“We’re really proud to have recently been recognised by FareShare as a leading food partner, and to further strengthen the partnership with this new refer-a-friend initiative.”

For the first 15,000 successful referrals, Gousto will donate £10, which will help FareShare redistribute the equivalent of 40 meals to vulnerable people across its network of 8,500 charity and community groups. * From 26/06/23 – 09/07/23, Gousto will donate £10 to FareShare (Registered charity number 1100051), for each new customer acquired throughout the Refer a Friend campaign. Gousto will donate a maximum of £150,000 to FareShare.
