FareShare has campaigned for years for funding to get more surplus food from farms to people who need it. In February, then Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced £15 million to rescue surplus food – but this fund now hangs in the balance.
Please write to your MP ahead of the budget to ask them to call for this funding to be included in the new government’s spending plans.
