We continue a full national operation to get food to vulnerable people during the Covid-19 crisis.

In Celebration

Asking for donations instead of gifts is a great way for family and friends to mark your special occasion and help us tackle fight food waste and fight food poverty at the same time.

Whether it’s a big birthday, an important anniversary or even your wedding day – a donation to FareShare is the perfect alternative to a traditional gift.

Set up an online fundraising page

Setting up an online Just Giving page is a quick, safe and secure way to raise money for FareShare. Don’t forget to share your page with friends and family on Twitter, Facebook and by email.

If you’d rather not set up an online fundraising page, you can make a single donation or set up a regular gift online.

Hold a collection

Lots of people choose to collect donations on the day of their celebration.

To send us the proceeds of your celebration collection by post, please make your cheque(s) payable to FareShare and send them to: Fundraising, FareShare, Unit 7 Deptford Trading Estate, Blackhorse Road, London, SE8 5HY.

You can also pay in donations online. We’d love to hear all about your celebration and why you decided to raise money for FareShare, so please do include this in the notes.

Wedding gifts

Many couples offer their guests the option of making a donation to charity instead of, or as well as, providing a gift list. You can set up a personalised online donation page for your guests on Just Giving.

If you would like to make a donation to FareShare on behalf of your guests (for example, in lieu of wedding favours) please contact our fundraising team.
