Can you take on FareShare’s Miles for Meals challenge? We’re asking you to walk either 50 or 100 miles over one month, whilst fundraising to get good-to-eat, surplus food to those who need it most. This challenge is super flexible, so you can cover the distance in your own time and your own way.
Strap on your trainers and get motivated this spring! Whether you’re going for a walk in the park or clocking up miles on a treadmill, every step you take counts towards your target distance of 50 or 100 miles.
Miles for Meals is open all spring. But we recommend taking part for the month of April, when most of our FareShare walkers will be setting off.
By fundraising for FareShare this spring, you’ll be helping us to prevent edible surplus from going to waste, and making sure it gets to the people who need it most.
Every £1 you raise will help to redistribute five meals to people facing food insecurity.
Via our network of local charities and community groups, FareShare food is much more than meals – it brings communities together, enabling people to access the services and support they need to thrive.
Turning your miles into meals has never been easier:
This year, we want to see as many of our corporate partners get involved as possible. So why not join forces with colleagues to complete the challenge together? Bring the whole office together with a teambuilding challenge that’ll make an impact.
We’ll be on hand to provide advice and guidance, so you can make Miles for Meals the ideal engagement activity for your company and staff.
Sign up with your team or download our corporate one-pager to get more information on taking part with your organisation.
