As part of Compass Group UK & Ireland and Foodbuy’s efforts to support those in need during the coronavirus crisis the companies are donating half a million pounds worth of food to FareShare.
This means FareShare can deliver vital food supplies to frontline charities across the UK providing a lifeline to those most at risk, including children and families and those who are sick and self-isolating.
FareShare CEO Lindsay Boswell, said: “These additional food supplies will allow charities to deliver nutritious meals and bags of essential supplies to people in their communities who might otherwise go hungry during this crisis.”
