We continue a full national operation to get food to vulnerable people during the Covid-19 crisis.

Nurture Brands provide 50,000 meals for vulnerable people

19 December 2019

This month we’re delighted to celebrate a big milestone with plant based food and drink business Nurture Brands. By diverting their surplus food to FareShare they’ve provided enough food to help create 50,000 meals for vulnerable people across the UK.

“Nurture brands is a collective of challenger brands, with a shared mission to make healthy snacking a positive choice for all, through food, business and beyond. We want to help close the loop on food waste which connected us to partner with FareShare. FareShare play an essential role in redistributing some of the products that we can’t use and get them to people who need them in the UK. We’re proud to be contributing to a reimagined system that prevents nutritious food from going to landfill.”

Adam Draper, Managing Director, Nurture Brands Ltd

Nurture Brands began their partnership with FareShare in December 2017, when they started delivering surplus snacks from Emily Snacks.

Since then they have increased the amount of food they send to charities and community groups, providing over 100 pallets of surplus food which is then sent to charities across the UK, including breakfast clubs for children, refugees and homeless hostels.

FareShare now receives surplus food from across Nurture Brands, including Rebel Kitchen who provide plant based milks, and Ape who divert their surplus healthy snacks.

A big thank you Nurture Brands!
