Tesco Food Collection begins at local Tesco Express stores

The Tesco Food Collection has launched in Express stores today with shoppers being able to donate food to support FareShare from now until Saturday 20 November, and at larger Tesco stores from 18-20 November.

If you are heading to your local store this week, please consider donating an extra item or two from the list below to FareShare:

• Tinned Fish
• Tinned Meat & Pies
• Cooking Sauces
• Tinned Tomatoes & Vegetables
• Dried & Tinned Pulses
• Rice, Pasta & Noodles
• Tinned Soup
• Tea Bags & Instant Coffee
• Tinned Fruit & Puddings
• Preserves
• Cereals

The list is based on what our network of charities has asked for to help them support people in need this winter.

The Tesco Winter Food Collection will help FareShare and the Trussell Trust continue supporting people in the community this Christmas. Tesco will top up all customer donations by 20% as a cash donation to support FareShare.
