
Chair
Dominic has been CEO of Compass Group PLC, the world’s leading food service company since January 2018, having been on the Board since 2012. Prior executive appointments include CFO of Iglo Foods Group and Corporate Finance Director and Regional Finance Director of Cadbury plc.
Dominic’s career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers and he is currently also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of the London Stock Exchange Group plc. Dominic is Vice-Chair of the Council of University College London (“UCL”), where he was an alumnus and achieved a BA Hons in French Language and Literature.

Vice-Chair
Gavin is an experienced business leader most recently as President of the UK Food Industry ( FDF ) and CEO Premier Foods Plc. He has worked with large FMCG and Telecom businesses and has operated across Europe, US, Africa, India and China.
He began his career with Spillers Foods in sales and marketing before joining SC Johnson and then spent 15 years at Coca-Cola where he grew to become President for North West, and then Central and Eastern Europe.
Gavin went on to lead Vodafone UK before taking up international leadership positions across APAC and EMEA.

Paul is the former President of the Confederation of British Industry and currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Schroder & Co, Lead Non-Executive Board Member for the UK Department of Business & Trade, President of the Society of Chemical Industry, and a member of Trinity College Dublin’s Provost Advisory Council.
He has held leadership roles including Chair of Business LDN, Teach First, and the UK Skills Funding Agency Advisory Board, and was Chancellor of Teesside University. His previous business roles include Chairman of Bibby Line Group, Chairman & CEO of Wates Group, and Executive Director at ICI Plc, where he spent 24 years across several countries.

A Trustee of The Felix Project since 2020, Cath chairs the People Committee and volunteers regularly.
Cath is a Non-Executive Director at Capital Law Ltd. From 2015 to 2023, she was a Non-Executive Director at Investec Wealth & Investment, chairing the Remuneration Committee and serving as the designated NED for workforce engagement, building on her background as an employment lawyer. Previously a Partner at RPC (2000–2015), she led the Employment Department, served on the Partnership Executive, and was named Legal 500 Employment Lawyer of the Year.
Cath holds a Law degree from Newcastle University as well as a Master’s in Employment Law and Industrial Relations from Leicester University.

Tim is Chairman of Nationwide Produce PLC – a family business involved in all aspects of fresh produce. Nationwide grows, grades, packs, trades, imports and exports fresh produce. It is one of the largest produce companies in the UK with offices and depots throughout the UK mainland, Belfast, Dublin, the Netherlands and Spain.
Tim has worked in fresh produce all his life. Apart from the family business, he has worked at VHB, Briess, Hassy and G’s.
Tim is a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Fruiterers, a Freeman of the City of London and a die-hard Evertonian.

Ben is an experienced technology and business leader who has successfully built and led IT consulting and software firms across the US, Asia, and Europe. As a consultant and trusted advisor at executive & board level, he has supported digital transformation & innovation for global enterprises. Formally a Managing Director at Accenture, he was part of the team that launched and built the largest digital business in the world.
He has been involved with the Felix Project for over eight years – as a volunteer driver, chair of the Operations Committee and Technology Steering Committee and previously served as interim Head of Technology.
Ben is a chair of Citizens Advice Richmond and a trustee of Catch 22, a £50M social business providing alternative social services across the UK.

Julian has recently retired, before which he was a Partner at PwC, Leader of the EMEA Financial Services Advisory business, Senior Client Partner and Chair of PwC’s FS NED network.
He advised clients of corporate governance, business strategy and operational transformation.
Prior to his career in financial services Julian was a Captain in The Light Infantry. Julian has a BSc form UMIST and an MBA from Henley Management College.

Justin is a media entrepreneur who has founded, built and sold a number of media businesses. His current businesses include the Independent.
He founded the Felix Project in 2016 and was previously one of the founders of the Greenhouse Sports charity in 2002. He was awarded the Beacon Fellowship for philanthropy in 2018 and an OBE in the 2023 New Year Honours List. He was educated at Oxford University and The London Business School.

Jane founded The Felix Project in memory of her son Felix, who died suddenly in 2014. She was awarded an OBE in the 2022 Queen’s Jubilee Honours for her services to the London community. Previously UK Director of the Professional Boards Forum, she worked in strategy consulting, branding and corporate communications, including as Marketing Director at Wolff Olins. A founder steering committee member of the 30% Club, she helped promote greater female representation on UK boards.
Passionate about wildlife conservation, Jane supports Dorset rewilding projects and co-funds HedgeOx with The British Hedgehog Preservation Society. She holds an MBA from London Business School and a Modern Languages degree from Trinity College, Oxford, and is a Trustee of The Felix Byam Shaw Foundation.

Angela is a trusted C-Suite and Board advisor known for driving growth and transformation for global brands through creativity, data, and technology.
As CEO of Oliver Agency and Brandtech Partner & Chief Strategy Officer, she leads the world’s top AI-enabled in-housing company, managing 4,000+ people across 40 markets to deliver marketing transformation and measurable impact.
Formerly CEO of Dentsu UK&I, she has extensive experience in digital transformation, marketing, M&A, and innovation. Passionate about sustainability, diversity, and female leadership, Angela also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Fareshare Board.

Matt is the Managing Director of Amazon Fresh in the UK and has been at Amazon for 5 years. Previously he held Director roles at Sainsburys and Central England Co-operative, across Store operations, Finance, Commercial and Marketing functions. He also held a non-executive role with Mersey Care NHS foundation Trust, a Mental Health Trust covering the Northwest, where he chaired the Performance and Finance committee.
Matt has a degree in Land Economy from Cambridge and subsequently qualified as a Chartered surveyor, spending the first part of his career in retail property expansion, investment and mixed-use development.

Aron Gelbard co-founded Bloom & Wild in 2013, growing it into Europe’s leading direct-to-consumer flower and gifting platform, operating in eight markets with three brands. The company stands out for its direct-from-grower model, lower waste, and proprietary technology enabling a scalable, sustainable customer experience. A certified B Corp and a Tech Zero signatory, Bloom & Wild has led sustainability innovations across its supply chain.
Previously at Bain & Company, Aron holds an MA from Oxford and an MBA from Harvard. He is also an active angel investor in sustainability ventures and a Founders Pledge member.

Karin has been a charity leader for nigh on 40 years and has served as an adviser to and trainer for government agencies and not-for-profit organisations across the globe.
She is Chief Executive of the multiservice social action charity, Cambridge House; Chair of the UK’s Race Equality Foundation; a non-executive member of the City Bridge Foundation Funding Panel; and a government appointee to the National Lottery England Committee. Karin’s past roles include Chief Executive positions at ContinYou, Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, Tabernacle Centre for Arts and Learning, and the Minorities Arts Advisory Service.
Karin was appointed CBE in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to social justice.

Karen is Chief Executive of the Food & Drink Federation, the trade association that represents the UK’s food and soft drinks manufacturers. She was CEO of the Scotch Whisky Association from 2017 to 2021, representing the sector in the UK and globally. Before that, she was a diplomat with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office for 16 years, latterly serving as British Ambassador to Morocco and non-resident Ambassador to Mauritania, and in prior roles in Washington DC, Brussels, Baghdad and London, including in the Cabinet Office and Joint Intelligence Committee. Earlier in her career, she was a lawyer with Clifford Chance in London and Hong Kong. Karen is a former Adviser to the UK Government’s Board of Trade and received an OBE in 2022 for services to international trade.

Simone’s involvement with FareShare Midlands began in 2006, when she answered a call for help to support refugees coming to the UK.
She became Midlands Director in 2017. Under Simone’s leadership, FareShare Midlands has grown significantly. Today, it employs 60 staff and supports more than 70,000 people across the region, via a network of 500 charities and community groups.
Simone is as passionate about tackling food waste and hunger as she was when she first volunteered for FareShare more than 15 years ago. She is delighted to be able to contribute to the charity’s governance as a trustee.
Before joining FareShare, Simone worked in events and regional sales for a packaging company and managed a hotel and leisure complex in Leicestershire.

Angela Yotov was formerly the Group General Counsel and Executive Committee member of the FTSE 100 insurance company, Direct Line Group plc prior to its acquisition by Aviva. She was previously the Group General Counsel of Close Brothers Group plc, a FTSE 250 financial services group, and at RateSetter, a high growth fintech.
Angela is a passionate supporter of D&I and was the Executive Sponsor of the Neurodiversity and Disability at Direct Line. She is also a strong supporter of mentoring having been a 30% Club Mentor and a co-founder of Mentorix, a not-for-profit, General Counsel mentoring scheme for GCs of the future. Having gained her Law degree at Oxford University, Angela has spent over 20 years in top law firms and financial services institutions.
