Payroll Giving is an easy and tax effective way to support FareShare directly through your wages. Because your gift is taken after National Insurance but before tax, your donation actually costs you less. For example, a monthly donation of £10 would cost you £8, based on a 20% income tax bracket.

Four easy steps to get started with Payroll Giving
- Sign up to FareShare’s Payroll Giving page.
You will be redirected to our Payroll Giving page, hosted by our partner Payroll Giving in Action. - We’ll deal with the admin and notify your employer.
- Your payroll team will take the donation from your gross salary on your payday. It can take 4-6 weeks for this to start.
- FareShare will receive your donation and use it to get more good food onto plates.
