The Felix Project, our delivery partner in London, works from 4 depots in Enfield, Poplar, Deptford and Acton to rescue good food from going to waste and provide it to over 1,000 community groups and schools across the capital supporting thousands of Londoners in need. In Central London they run a scheme using electric van, cycle and walking routes to collect and deliver food from retailers and food-2-go outlets. Production units at Poplar (Felix Kitchen), Deptford (Felix Food Factory) and Acton (Felix Bakes) turn surplus food into longer life products that can be redistributed to community organisations.

Volunteer with The Felix Project

The Felix Project depots, Central London Green Scheme and production units all welcome volunteers who can spare time to help ensure that good, surplus food gets to the people who need it most.

Volunteers can get involved driving vans, cycling bikes or walking to deliver food supplies to amazing frontline organisations across London. You can also sign up to volunteer in the warehouse for morning or afternoon shifts and will be part of a team that helps to sort and pick food, input food information on the computer system and even chat with the community groups and schools about their food needs for the coming week. In the Kitchen, Bakes and Food Factory, you can be involved in preparing meals, and helping label and pack them ready for distribution across London.
