FareShare North East is a surplus food charity dedicated to eradicating food waste and alleviating food poverty in the North East region. Our mission is to rescue surplus food, ensuring it reaches those in need through a network of charities and community groups.
We are a committed team of over 100 volunteers and staff members working to get nutritious food to those who need it most across Newcastle, Sunderland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Gateshead, Northumberland, Durham and Teesside.
FareShare North East would welcome enquires from both food organisations wishing to donate as well as new community projects that would like to receive food.
